Traditionally summer cottages in Jurmala

( the main resort city in Latvia ) – light,

elegant buildings with a verandah,

balcony and wooden lace of facade

and this new house in Riga seaside

also continues the historical

style of the resort city’s architecture.
External appearance of the building

defines the atmosphere of interior,

where the light and elegance rule.

The house colour scale is created mostly

on the combination of two tones – natural nut and white.

This strict selection brought in interior feelings

of luxury because everything is created very

carefully and exactly, it’s why the house doesn’t sup- press,

but brings feelings of warmth and comfort everywhere.

It’s underlined also by using wood: wall panels,

cornices above windows and doors and in other

details of interior. The antiquarian fireplace

became the adornment of the drawing room.

Besides the oaken parquet what attracts

attention with its clear geometrical patterns,

harmonising with the same patterns

on the top of the table, unite them in a common harmony.

A staircase what leads to the second floor

was made specially for this building by Latvian masters,

but the romantic mood in the bedroom

is underlined with the help of white furniture,

coloured wallpapers and delicate murals on all the wardrobe’s wall.
